Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both as a captain and a participant of the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012, she was awarded gold in the team competitions as well as the floor workouts. On the balance beam, she earned a bronze. As a result, she was the first American to compete at an Olympics who had the most amount of medals. In the 2016, Olympics she was awarded gold in the team event which brought her as well as her teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having been the first Americans to win back-to-back team golds. Silver medals were awarded in the floor individual and all-around competitions. She took a three-year break between each Olympics from competing gymnastics. Her gold medal winning American team also won the two World Championships. Aly began gymnastics lessons when she was just two years old and is a fan of the floor workout. Aly contributes her time and money to Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. Aly is planning to pursue the profession of a fashion designer. Her future goals include the expansion of her signature line of leotards. Fierce is a book that is due out later in the year.
